The extra 2 weeks of Inner Core Training is for those preparing for a pregnancy or for postpartum moms. It focuses on healing a diastasis recti and strengthening the pelvic floor. For the postpartum mom, it will help pull your ab separation together and strengthen your pelvic floor to help with urinary incontinence. For those preparing for pregnancy, these workouts will strengthen your inner core to help you avoid an ab separation. The 12 week program will also get your body in the best condition for having a healthy pregnancy.
The FIT Mom Guide is a 12 week workout program plus 2 extra weeks of inner core training. The extra 2 weeks are optional. You will take a diastasis recti and pelvic floor assessment that will determine if you will start on week 1 of the program (starting with inner core training) or start on week 3 (skipping the inner core training). The 12 week program is broken down into 3 phases. Each phase is expertly designed so your body will never plateau, allowing for maximum fat loss and muscle build. The workouts range in their focus: upper strength, lower strength, full body cardio, abs, inner core, stretching, speed cardio. Each workout has a beginner, intermediate, and advanced variation! This allows the program to fit to YOUR level/experience rather than the other way around. There is a workout 6 days a week and they range from being 10-31 min. The ONLY piece of equipment required is a timer!
There are over 80 workouts in the program and each one of them is DIFFERENT! Also, with the 200+ exercises having beginner, intermediate, and advanced variations there is unlimited combinations for workouts!! There is NO other program out there that offers this much information!
Sometimes we miss a workout and that is okay, it's LIFE!! The program has 6 different workouts a week, but use the program how it fits best in your life! Try to plan your schedule so you can workout daily. If life only allows you to finish 2-3 of the 4 rounds in a workout then that is okay! You will still see amazing progress! *Quickest results come from using the program as written (the full workout 6x/week)
Many people will be super strict with exercise and nutrition for 12 weeks. Yes they will have a drastic transformation, but the minute it's over will fall back into old habits and will regain all the weight! Because I myself have gone through this crazy cycle, my goal was to create a program that not only gave people the results they wanted but allowed them to physically and mentally be able to maintain those results for life. The unique way the program is designed allows for working out and nutrition to be REALISTIC! Making it realistic is what, I believe, contributes to our mental health. Weeks 3-14 of the program are NOT for pregnant women. However, the inner core training workouts (weeks 1 & 2 of the program) are safe for pregnancy (with your your doctors approval). They are also perfect for preventing diastasis recti during pregnancy and for keeping your pelvic floor strong.

The only equipment you will need is a timer and the program itself! That's it! I personally use the free app called "Tabata stopwatch pro". You can use any timer app but you will need one that allows you to set specific amounts for exercise duration, rest after each exercise, number of exercises, number of rounds, and rest after each round). Because you need a timer, I do recommend purchasing the hard copy so you can use the timer on your phone and have the ebook download for backup if you lose or damage your hard copy.

The nutrition plan gives you a sample of what and how much of each food group to eat each day. Each food group has a list of food options to choose from and tells you how much of each food to eat. You will keep track of your nutrition in your Workout/Nutrition worksheet! The tracking process of the nutrition plan is written in a very unique way to help you maintain your healthy nutrition for life! There is also breastfeeding adjustments for those that need it. Please keep in mind that the foods listed are not the only foods you can choose from! There are many foods out there that would fit in these categories that you can add in, especially for those that have specific needs. Also, the serving amounts provided are there as a SUGGESTION! The serving amounts provided will work for most but you may need to add or subtract servings depending on your specific needs. You also do NOT have to follow the sample menu exactly. Use the foods listed as the base of your meals and be creative with your meals! The goal of the nutrition plan is to teach you correct portion sizes, give you suggestions of healthy foods to incorporate into your meals, and to allow for those life moments (like birthday cake or holiday cookies) to come into your life.

Each person and nursing experience is different but the Nutrition Plan in The FIT Mom Guide has allowed women to keep a full milk supply all while achieving the results they have been looking for! Inside the program there is a specific section for nursing moms. It has tips to help you know if your milk supply is dropping, suggestions for how to keep it from dropping, and ways to get it back up!
NO! Like I have mentioned before, this program is designed for busy lifestyles that need a program that is realistic. Counting calories, macros, and weighing food is flat out a PAIN!
The nutrition plan is not specifically for vegetarians, vegans, etc. However, the plan gives you a list of food recommendations for each category (protein, complex carbs, fats, fruit, vegetables, etc.) The foods listed are SUGGESTIONS! There are many other food options that could fit in each of those categories. Adjust it as necessary to fit your specific needs!
There aren't any recipes, meal plans or grocery lists in the nutrition plan at the moment. (This is coming soon!) However, there is a Facebook Group of women that are doing this program. In there, many women (including myself) post recipes that we are loving while on the program. (In facebook, just type in "The Fit Mom Guide Group"). You also can find recipes under the "Blog" tab!

The life moments (like eating birthday cake or holiday cookies) on occasion and in moderation is what allows us to have long terms results.
