Hello there gorgeous! My name is McCall Williams!
When I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was play outside! I just wanted to be playing soccer, climbing trees, and running obstacles that I had created for myself and friends.
Growing up I was never quite sure what I wanted to be as an adult. All I knew, was how to have fun and how to be active!
After graduating High School, I then attended college where I realized I could have a career in being physically active! During my college years I worked at our top of the line Fitness Center. I then worked my way up to being the Director of the gym. In this position I oversaw all employees, personal trainers, nutritionists, competitions, and gym patrons.
In 2013 I received my Bachelors in Exercise Physiology and married my best friend!
A few months after graduation I continued my education to become a Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise Specialist and soon after became pregnant with our first child!
Just 7 months postpartum, I used the knowledge I learned from my schooling and certification to see how fast I could transform my post baby body. I entered a competition where I dropped over 20 lbs and 15% body fat in 12 weeks! This transformation and my background gave me my dream body and landed me a job with Bodybuilding.com as a Female Content Writer and Brand Ambassador, but one thing was missing…I wasn’t mentally happy.
The strict and extreme weight loss from the competition made me develop a terrible relationship with food. I found myself doing an extra cardio session at night from the guilt of eating 1 Oreo. Immediately after the competition I went from working out 6+ times a week and eating mostly chicken and broccoli to working out twice a week and eating mostly sugar! I’m sure you can imagine what this did to my body.
Although frustrating at the time, this experience revealed to me exactly what direction I needed to take my 14 week fitness program I had been working on at the time…soon becoming “The FIT Mom Guide.” I didn’t want ANYONE to have to go through what I did to get their body to look and feel a certain way and it certainly wasn’t a realistic way for anyone, especially a mom, to do so. I realized that to maintain your dream body, you have to also establish a healthy mind along the way! This concept became the main focus for “The FIT Mom Guide!”
My goal is to help each of you use “The FIT Mom Guide” to find balance with exercise and nutrition to live a HEALTHY and HAPPY lifestyle!!
XOXO,
McCall
